This Is Sled Hockey

Sled hockey originated in Sweden in the 1970's as a way for people with disabilities to participate in an exciting winter team sport. Since that time thousands of players have found their way to the ice and compete on teams ranging from local "fun" leagues all the way up into the Paralympics! In fact, a member of the current US Paralympic GOLD MEDAL team was once a Woodbridge Warrior!

Josh Pauls (Pictured) has won 2 Paralympic Gold Medals, 1 IPC (International Paralympic Committee) Gold Medal in 2015.
